I talked to a gentlman about 8 years ago that happened to work (Tinker AFB) with a cousing of mine (now deceased) and he was there and remembers everything. After basic, I was ordered to Combat Medic training at Ft. Sam Houston, TX then to Ft. Riley and, finally, the 3d Infantry Division(Audie Murphys outfit) in Wurzburg, FRG.
